Sue King – The warrior Monk
Acknowledged by many for her outstanding services, distinguished skills and a wealth of ongoing knowledge.
Respected for her dedication towards children while teaching them the mastery of martial arts, principals of zen meditation while coaching children from as young as six years old. To date where adults also respect her accomplishments, endeavouring to absorb her expertise. Sue inspires others to believe in themselves and achieve their goals
In 2014 sue became ordained as a Buddhist monk with stonrwater Zen Sangha based in Liverpool and at the time made the decision to raise money for Alder hey children’s hospital to which saved her life as a child Sue has raised thousands of pounds and has kept fundraising for various groups & organisations, her enthusiasm has not dwindled
Over the past year her health has suffered and for this reason sue decided to make significant but never-the-less wise changes to her lifestyle. This was made possible with the support of her partner Adam Lindop and close friend Simon Squires , sue entered online races in both running and cycling hitting up a total of 4,500 cycling and 730 miles jogging so far this year
Moving forward and making 2019 be memorable sue endeavours to support & raise funds for Claire House.
