Several members from Team Mushin attended the annual Budo Live event focusing on Ju-Jitsu, Karate, Aikido and Kobudo.

The group including sixth dan Sue King travelled to the Traditional Japanese Martial Arts event in Stalybridge on Sunday  which ran for six hours.

While at the seminar, King and co. experienced the ‘best event’ yet alongside 120 eager students.

Speaking on Social Media she said: “Six of us attended UKBF seminar at active Copley earlier today ,
It was yet another amazing seminar with 120 people on the Tatami, Budo Live just keeps getting bigger and better every year.”

Following the event which was directed by Mark Wood, Julian Mallalieu and Simon Keegan and taught by Wood, Mallalieu Neil Cheswick, Paul wood, Ian watts, and Keith Prole; their expertise was praised by the Liverpool coach King who hailed their direction and teaching ability.

She continued: “Thank you to directors Mark Wood Julian Mallalieu Simon Keegan and a great line up of instructors, quality instruction, great knowledge of technique and above all a strong Budo familly that I am proud to be part of, I am very excited about next years plans.”

With several takeaways from the event including a wealth of knowledge to impose upon her students and own skills, King jokingly said: “Thank you all again for a great day, i know I am going to be sore tomorrow.”
